Mental Coaching, Resilience Training und Psychotherapy in Hamburg
Moin and welcome! I’m Anabel Spiess, and I would like to support you in preparing mentally for challenges in your personal or professional life, strengthening your resilience, or helping you navigate difficult life phases or psychological issues.

As a psychologist trained from 2006 to 2015 and a state-certified psychotherapist (licensed in behavioral therapy in 2015), I offer mental coaching for various needs.
Whether it’s about achieving your personal and professional goals, successfully dealing with setbacks, or living a more fulfilling and meaningful life, I would be happy to accompany you on your journey.
My approach is based on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), which emerged in the 1990s in the field of behavioral analysis and has been proven effective through numerous scientific studies.
In coaching, ACT can be very effectively applied in the form of training, as psychopathology is not the focus here; instead, skills are taught to cope with stress or challenges. The goal is to actively shape one’s life, utilize action possibilities, find fulfillment through value orientation, and tap into one’s potential.
Additionally, elements from mental training, hypnotherapy, or cognitive behavioral therapy may also be applied.

Resilience Retreat
February, 27th – March,1st, 2026 | Kultur Gut Hasselburg
Strengthen your resilience: Learn how to face life’s challenges through acceptance and commitment training. Spend two and a half days with a small group on a farm on the Baltic Sea and learn what mental flexibility means and what it can change.

Resilience Training for students
Resilience Training for Students specifically strengthens mental resilience in the face of everyday academic stress. Through practical exercises and by working on concrete challenges or personal burdens (participation is voluntary—everyone is welcome, but no one is required to share), students learn skills that help them develop a sustainable and healthy way of dealing with their own issues.
Examples include performance pressure, exam anxiety, overthinking, tension, sleep disturbances, or emotional stress outside of university life (e.g., family conflicts or relationship issues). The training promotes mental strength, mindfulness, and healthy self-care.
“Letting go of the struggle with your inner experiences could pave the way for something truly meaningful.”
